Facebook gives Timeline a new look

Facebook is at it again. A few days after introducing its upcoming new News Feed, the company announced on Wednesday that it had started rolling out its revamped Timeline.

Users can expect to enjoy a more organized wall with two separate sections. The left side is limited to their About information, photos, music and other recent activity, while the wider right side bring posts and updates into more prominence. The new Timeline also has a new menu section right under the cover picture.

When visiting your About page, you will notice redesigned sections that allow you to share more of your interests (movies, books, music…) than before through apps. And should you want to feature your activity from sites like Instagram, Pinterest or Etsy, you can add individual app sections to your Timeline. All the apps can be removed by visiting the Activity log.

The redesign should be available to all users within the next few weeks.
