A grieving father’s pain was felt by officials at Facebook when he asked in a You Tube video for the “Look Back” video” of his deceased son, according to the LA Times. For John Berlin the ability of being able to see his son Jesse and relive memories was the most precious gift that Facebook could grant him.

Berlin ran into a roadblock when he attempted to access his son’s page and set up a “Look Back” for Jesse’s Facebook page. He did not know the password. The 62-second video was created for other Facebook pages as a way to mark the 10th anniversary of Facebook was not available to him for his deceased son.

On Wednesday the father decided to send a You Tube video message to Facebook’s creator and Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg. In the pleas he requested that Facebook make a ‘Look Back’ video for his son, reported the LA Times.

Not only did officials at Facebook receive the message but 2 million other You Tube viewers saw the emotional request that literally went viral in less than a day. Berlin’s hopeful video actually resulted in a direct call from Zuckerberg himself.

On Friday, Berlin received not only a video, but also a call from Zuckerberg. “He said because of my video, they wanted to help me out and they wanted to help others out,” stated the father of Jesse, according to the LA Times.

Now John Berlin and Jesse’s other loved ones can view a “Look Back” at many of the good and precious times that were part of Jesse’s life that he shared on Facebook.
