Facebook gives grieving dad ‘Look Back’ video of dead son

A grieving dad who begged to view his deceased son’s Facebook account was finally answered. The social media network reached out to John Berlin in response to his YouTube plea, according to ABC News reports on Feb 8. Berlin was gifted, “A Look Back” video of his son, Jesse H. Berlin, Facebook’s special 10th Anniversary that was introduced to celebrate for all account users.

Last week, Mr. Berlin prepared his plea using his webcam and posted it on YouTube; the video has gone viral literally overnight, catching the attention of Facebook.

The dad from St. Louis, MO lost his 21-year-old son on Jan. 28, 2012 from natural causes.

The special 60 minute clip “Look Back” video was forwarded by Facebook to the family – the video was shared courtesy of John Berlin – to help them cope with their loss; Jesse’s last Facebook post was on Jan. 18, 2012.
