There’s a new Facebook contest to help a worthy cause called “Love at First Lick.” The contest was launched this week by Havahart Wireless, a market leader in wireless electronic devices for dog containment.
The goal is for Havahart Wireless to donate $1,000 to Canine Companions for Independence after reaching 25,000 fans on the Havahart Wireless Facebook page.
“This contest offers a fun way to give back and raise awareness for a great cause that is passionate about dogs and helping people with disabilities gain independence,” said Andrea Long, category development director for Havahart Wireless. “We look forward to educating visitors about this great organization and will continually update our progress toward reaching our goal during the duration of the contest. New Facebook fans will become part of our engaging community of nearly 23,000 people.”
Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
Havahart Wireless chose to raise funds for this non-profit organization because of its passion for dogs and commitment to dog training while enabling people with disabilities to lead independent lives.
Havahart Wireless offers pet owners a wireless dog fence technology with expandable fencing that custom shapes to any yard. They also offer an underground, wired fencing option and an array of electronic pet devices and training tools that make home living safer for both pet owners and their dogs.
