Facebook changing it up again: News Feed is getting the latest facelift

Get ready for Facebook users to get their panties in a bunch again. ABC News reports today that the social network will be unveiling a new look for its News Feed on March 7.

Invitations were sent to reporters this morning for next week’s event which will take place at Facebook’s campus in Menlo Park, California.

The company reportedly acquired Atlas, a digital advertising company, from Microsoft last night which reportedly will help advertising with targeting audiences on the web and through mobile as well.

Some people may not be aware of the fact that Facebook held a similar event at its campus in January, when it unveiled its new Graph Search search tool that allows users to search across their friends’ information.

Even though Facebook has been testing new designs for user Timelines, the event is expected to focus solely on the News Feed feature.

Hopefully the company’s tests will pay off and users will see a considerable improvement in the News Feed feature in mobile apps.

Facebook has recently overhauled its iPhone and Android apps, making them faster to use which should please the masses.

Stay tuned Facebook people and cross your fingers that the new news and good news.
