The administrators of the group "Truckers To Shut Down America" were temporarily booted from posting in Facebook for saying "God Bless America." On Sunday afternoon, they were finally back up and posting on their Facebook page, which has gone viral.
Today, the Examiner spoke with the group's founder, Zeeda Andrews, who has tapped a nerve by calling for a "General Strike" to protest "the corruption that is destroying America." Americans who believe that the Government is trampling on the Constitution are welcome to join, regardless of party.
Today, the patriot group "Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment" offered to be out in full force, calling the effort one of their "patriot waves" to support the truckers making the trek across the nation to Washington, D.C. on the weekend of October 11-13, 2013, as reported today by the Examiner.
Zeeda mentioned that she was temporarily unable to post on Facebook. The reason, she claimed, was "because the FB community does not like God Bless America." Thinking it was a joke, the author asked why she was temporarily booted. She repeated, "for using God Bless America." She said that the other administrator of the site was also also temporarily unable to post on the Facebook page. She told the Examiner,
"You should tell everyone to say God Bless America."
When Zeeda was finally able to post again, she confirmed her claim, indicating that going forward, she will say "Godspeed." She wrote in part,
"Benn and I are back we have been in FB jail for saying G o d B l e s s A m e r i c a so from now on we will continue to give you Godspeed."
"Truckers To Shut Down America" also has it's own website, which highlights a statement today addressed to the government, saying in part,
"You have overstepped your bounds as a government that is meant for the people by the people. We do not consent to acts of treasonous and treacherous Legislation that affect every man woman and child in America."
Godspeed, truckers. And God Bless America.
