Halloween is right around the corner, the holiday where people pay money to be scared by zombies, the dark, clowns, and chainsaw wielding psychos at haunted attractions. How about being completely naked as a clown or zombie chases you or are you scared of being naked? On September 20, 2013, KYGL radio announced that Shocktoberfest, Pennsylvania's Premier Haunted Scream Park is challenging visitors to face their fears and experience the Unknown Haunted House completely naked.
Shocktoberfest creators have raised the bar in haunted houses for over 20 years and the Naked and Scared Challenge will be an experience like no other. Visitors can choose to be nude or prude (either totally nude or with underwear). The Naked and Scared Challenge stems from the television show, 'Naked and Afraid' on the Discovery Channel.
The Unknown haunted house is themed in Steampunk, a sub-genre of science fiction, and has 3-D visuals, augmented-reality scenes and incredible props.
Participants of the The Naked and Scared Challenge are required to sign a waiver and be 18 or older. The challenge takes place at the end of the night after all others visitors have gone through the haunted house.
Tickets for The Naked and Scared Challenge are $20.00 and can be purchased online or at the park. If purchasing on-site the ticket booth ONLY accepts cash, but there is an ATM at the park.
