Face Stockholm's feminine Springtime makeup look for 2014 @FaceStockholm

This season's collection from Face Stockholm is stunning, but soft. Neutral brows, soft, understated foundation and a nearly nude lip are accented with a bold stroke of Precision Eyeliner. The look flatters those with pale complexions, but women with different skin intensities can pick and choose from the collection and make the look their own. There's definitely enough to captivate everyone. With a collection that is light and soft, if it feels too pale, or if your skin is too deep to handle the colors, work with the idea, and select a shade or two deeper than what I'm suggesting. Face Stockholm has so many different colors and tones, you can find one that you like and still "get the look."

The liquid mineral foundation ($36.00) that the model is wearing in the photo is the lightest of eight shades. I opted for a sample two deeper and the look wasn't changed one bit. This mineral foundation goes from super pale to medium deep. I really like this oil-free, paraben-free, mineral-based formula liquid (dispensed with a wanded spatula cap) that produced a smooth, natural matte finish. Perfect for warmer weather, when you don't want too much of a glow. You can also dust on some powder to set it even more.

Face Stockholm's looks usually seem to focus on the eyes. This look plays the eys up with lots of black Precision Eyeliner ($36.00) dispensed from a felt tip pen, and one of my new most favorite mascaras, Luxe Lash 9$32.00) which is hypoallergenic, and coats each lash with a unique precision " Lash Lift" mascara brush. Its close-cropped bristles are designed specifically to latch onto and coat each individual lash. The mascara is also enhanced with Panthenol, Vitamin E and Wheat Proteins to condition and strengthen. A Pearl Eye Shadow ($19.00) simply called "#36" adds a beautiful, shimmery taupe to lids. Dust on a light layer, or add more for more metallic intensity, or you can even layer it with ine if Face Stockholm's Matte Eye Shadows to create depth and dimension -- it's fun to play! Also part of this look is a cream eye shadow in a pot called "KRÄMÖGONSKUGGA" (yes, that is a mouthful) $24.00. It is a highly pigmented, long-wearing cream shadow that is buildable and blendable. you can wear it alone or under a powder shadow, as it is waterproof (another plus for warmer weather). "Bomull" is the color used in this look, and it's basically a bright flesh. I like it not just for creating this look, but as a base for other shadows you might want to wear. If you have uneven coloring on your lids (e.g. freckles) this particular shadow really is a cover-up as well as a lid enhancer.

The brows are also defined with tinted brow fix. For $18.00 you can get a tinted or clear that will keep your brows under control (and that's the idea with this look).

I am a personal fan of Face Stockholm powder blush (420.00) because it looks so natural and stays true to color. There are 30 shades to choose from, if the light peachy-pink "blush Worship" is too pale for your skin tone. But if you have a fair to medium complexion this beautiful, peaches and pink color is going to be your new favorite blush from now until there's nothing left in the chic, round, shiny silver compact with interior mirror,. This blush truly is a little gem.

Lips get the natural treatment with a chic, nude lipstick ($22.00) called "Toffee." that is actually a soft coral, not a toffee color (go figure)" With more that 154 shades to choose from, you can adjust the color intensity of this look to suit. The creamy lipstick gives just enough color to balance the eyes and the blush, but Face Stockholm also has matte and "veil" formulas if you prefer. Find a similar shade, and enjoy the look as you like it!

Ready to be told: " Du är vacker." (in Swedish that tanslates to "you are beautiful.") Go to your favorite Face Stockholm boutique and check out all the colors, or buy them online at http://www.facestockholm.com
