The theme on last night’s episode of ‘Face Off’ was werewolves, for the foundation challenge the remaining 8 contestants were divided in teams of 2 and given 2 and a half hours for each team to apply make up on 20 models and make them look zombie like. All teams did a good job, but only one team could win and that was Anthony & Meaghan, this last one won immunity.
Then it was time for the Spotlight Challenge that involved moons and what this entails when it comes to monsters in the night. And once again, the artists were divided in groups of 2 and surprisingly Eric F. & Anthony chose Saturn, as the planet on which to base their werewolf. Their design was ambitious and massive, Kris & Wayne worked side by side without much ado, as well as House & Meaghan, Eric Z. & Autumn didn’t click at all and they struggled throughout the three days they had to complete the challenge.
Then it was time for final looks and House and Meaghan who chose Mars as the planet for their werewolf were praised for imaginative design and story, also Kris & Wayne were given high marks for the bodywork and the cohesive design in all its aspects. However, for Eric F. & Anthony the words were harsh and the criticism heartbreaking. Eric Z. & Autumn’s design was torn apart and ripped to shreds for its lack of imagination and common sense.
The makeup artist to be sent home last night was Autumn who bullied Eric Z. into something he didn’t believe in and then when the time came was unable to own up to what she had masterminded. ‘Face Off’ runs on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on SYFY.
