On Tuesday night’s episode the five remaining makeup artists were taken to the Egyptian Theatre where they were presented with their Spotlight Challenge, to create and Egyptian God who has been mummified based on the Evil Dead movie franchise.
Kris chose Khnum, Anthony went for Annubus, Eric F. went straight for Ra, Wayne opted for Sobek, and House took Thoth. Kris did an outstanding job with his god of the Nile, and was the winner of the challenge whose character as the judge Neville Page told him, was camera ready even for close ups. Eric F. was also praised but his color scheme just didn’t quite hit the mark, and Wayne also was given kudos for a job well done and that meant that Anthony and House were in the bottom.
House was sent home at the end, he went too far with his hieroglyphs, and that was unfortunate because he is one of the greatest makeup artists this show has seen. Anthony has also done great work throughout the show and even managed to win the first four challenges that the artists were given.
