Ezekiel 4:9 Cereal recalled for undeclared almond protein

Food For Life Baking Company is recalling over 15,000 cases of Ezekiel 4:9 Cereal due to the presence of unlisted almond protein. The cereals may contain an undeclared allergen, almond.

People with allergies to almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if the inadvertently consume the product.

The recalled cereals were sold nationwide through health food distributors and natural food retailers, and shipped between November 20 and February 11. The specific product information is:

  • Food For Life, Ezekiel 4:9 Boxed Cereal โ€“ Original, (Orange Carton). UPC 073472002550. Lot numbers M3232, M3313, M3512, M3565.
  • Food For Life, Ezekiel 4:9 Boxed Cereal โ€“ Golden Flax, (Blue Carton). UPC 073472002568. Lot numbers M3253, M3309, M3414, M3439, M3523, N0068, N0165.
  • Food For Life, Ezekiel 4:9 Boxed Cereal โ€“ Cinnamon Raisin, (Purple Carton). UPC 073472002574. Lot numbers M3232, M3313, M3328, M3425, M3512, M3527, M3537, N0045, N0132.
