Eyes sore and puffy after New Year's Eve? Come try this tea tip for relief

If you have been out and enjoying the last night of 2013, or wanted to really rush into 2014, then chances are you might be waking up shortly with a bit of a pain all over your body. One of the places that many people feel their headaches begin and stay is around their eye areas. The causes of this are many, and usually the main culprit is going to be dehydration or irritants in the air. This is most likely going to be the case if you were at a party last night, had a couple drinks, or hung around a group where there was a lot of smoke in the air.

If this sounds like you, or might be you after a wild night, then don't worry as tea can help with more than just quenching your thirst. Many people have found relief in steeping different herbal teas and after removing the tea bags, and letting them cool to an appropriate temperature, simply placing them around the eyes. Don't worry if you think this could look weird as chances are the relief that these herbal mixes can provide will far outweigh the awkward look that you might get from those around you.

Another bonus of using a nice smelling herbal tea is that even if the swelling does not lower on your face you will have had a nice relaxing moment with a great smelling tisane bag near your nose. Simply breath in and out to enjoy the nice smells and get a mini meditation moment in.
