Walking into the volunteer community area of East Valley Animal Shelter you hear a lot of good news a lot of bad news and a lot of people choosing favorites. It's common for a volunteer to find that one or two or twelve dogs that they like just a tad more then the rest. Do not get me wrong we love all the animals that depend on us, but once in a while there is that one that catches your eye then your heart.
For volunteer Claudia Garcia and myself the pup of day would have to be Tiger ID number A1177172. A striking brindle dog whose breed is debatable. He is a male, about a year old and a perfect mid-size dog at 55lbs. I am not sure why his owner dropped him off at the shelter, cause from hanging out with him for a while he seems like one of sweetest guys I've met.
