Featured in the "Mind Seize" deck, Eye of Doom is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming "Commander (2013 Edition)." This rare artifact adds some fun chaotic destruction to your multiplayer games, and in a very stylish fashion (all sound effects provided by you).
Eye of Doom - 4
When Eye of Doom enters the battlefield, each player chooses a nonland permanent and puts a doom counter on it.
2, Tap, Sacrifice Eye of Doom: Destroy each permanent with a doom counter on it.
Eye of Doom is very much a political card. If there's a player nobody likes, or one who's just completely dominating the battlefield, chances are they'll end up receiving multiple doom counters across their cards. Eye of Doom's power scales with the number of players in the game. While it isn't that effective in a one on one match (because you really want to pay six mana and two cards just to blow up just one of your enemy's), if you're in a game of five or more people then Eye of Doom can make a huge impact. Don't be mistaken thought, even if there's just a few people left, it'll allow you to deal with your opponent's biggest bombs - unless they decide to gang up on you instead.
One way to to gain extra card advantage out of Eye of Doom is to flicker it, letting every player distribute another doom counter so that when you pop this bad boy it goes off with a big bang.
How will you use Eye of Doom?
