The show "Extreme Weight Loss" is all about losing weight and boosting self-confidence. The reality show has quite intense moments this season, but on Tuesday night a contestant gets support to make a bold decision. According to Broadway World on Tuesday, this is an episode of helping an actor get an audition of a lifetime, but before he does there is a matter of weight to consider.

Chris Powell will help Rod chase a lifelong dream of becoming a Broadway performer even though most folks might think it sounds a bit far-fetched. In New York City for his 50th birthday, Rod will get the chance to audition for the smash-hit Broadway musical, "Chicago." Plus Chris issue’s Rod his biggest challenge yet and it would have been tough for the average man. He was asked to climb the stairs to the top of the Empire State Building.

The backstory about this man will have everyone impressed on the kindness of the man. Keeping a secret from some of his family, Rod steps up to change things before he leave. Rod struggled to tell his family about his sexuality. Recently coming out to his sister and mother, it seems he was comfortable in sharing the news with some people. However, Rod’s father still didn’t know that his son is gay. Reluctant to start changing his life without telling his loved ones who he really is, Rod comes out to his father before starting his weight loss journey.

Every week the viewers get the chance to see people change their lives over a year. It’s obvious that Rod took this challenge and transformed his life as well as his body to make his lifelong journey full of ambition and happiness.
