The Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival is back for its 18th year at the Desert Breeze Skate Park in Las Vegas on March 30, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This is Nevada’s only premier action sports and music festival where professional BMX and amateur skate competitions will have the spectators amazed at the stunts and tricks performed and dancing to the great line-up of bands that will be attending.
The Pro Dirt Challenge will present BMX riders that include TJ Ellis, Dustin Grice, Ryan Guettler, Jimmy Hale, Ricardo Laguna, Victor Salazar, Ben Voyles, and many more. Ricardo Laguna will be hosting the event.
The Vegas Am Jam will have beginner, intermediate and advanced scooter, skateboard and BMX riders competing at the skate park. Competitors will be judged on variety, style, skill and amplitude. If you’re looking to compete, registration is still open for each event. Helmets are mandatory.
Some of the bands featured at Extreme Thing include New Found Glory, 3OH3, Asking Alexandria, Mindless Self Indulgence, Sleeping with Sirens, Aquabats, Youngblood Hawke, Comeback Kid, Motionless in White, Born of Osiris and many more. The DUBSTEP stage will return with Big Chocolate, Mechanize, Splitbreed, Pablos Hassan, Mike Attack, Teen Wolf, and others.
