Extreme Make Over Home Edition is on the Eastern Shore just outside Sharptown, Maryland. Wyzhir Johnson who lost his hand in an accident with a saw last Christmas Eve, is getting a new house.
EMHE has been working on the house for the last several days and will be doing the reveal on Tuesday. According to a spectator the show will be fixing up several houses in the area also. Along with the house, Wyzhir will be getting a four-year scholarchip to Salisbury University.
An Annapolis based group Fusion Companies, is doing the work along with a lot of volunteers. There is a bus running every 20 minutes taking spectators to and from the site to a designated parking lot at the Sharptown Carnival.
In a time when not much on TV is worth watching it's nice to know that this show still exists. Whatever additional motives there may be, such as making a profitable TV show, EMHE is actually helping people in need.
