Just a peek at 'Circus Oz: From the Ground Up!'

Best known for enriching some of opera’s most acclaimed parts such as Mozart’s Figaro, the Count, and Don Giovanni, accomplished baritone opera singer Gerald Finley has captivated audiences in legendary concert halls such as Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Opera. Finley will appear at the New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall, 30 Gainsborough Street in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, February 7 at 8 p.m.

Directed by dance veteran and choreographer Mourad Merzouki, witness a dance spectacle which integrates stunts and sizzling, catchy dance styles such as samba and hip hop with ‘Compagnie Kafig.’ Assembled by 11 skilled young dancers from Brazil, audiences will not believe their eyes on the level of athleticism coming from this French hip-hop dance troupe.

The Newport Jazz Festival, a renowned summer festival that dazzles audiences yearly in Rhode Island, is turning 60! The Celebrity Series of Boston is honoring this milestone anniversary with enormously talented musicians such as clarinet player Anat Cohen, Grammy-winning vocalist Karrin Allyson, Grammy-winning Randy Brecker on trumpet, Mark Whitfield on guitar, and many more! The celebration will take place for one night only at Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday, February 13 at 8 p.m.

The National Circus of Australia is chock full of astounding aerial stunts, incredible music, humor, and entertainment for adults and children age 4 and up. ‘Circus Oz’ is an all human troupe and is dedicated to humanitarian efforts.
