Extra shift codes have been posted for the Mac, PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 iterations of the multiplatform video game, “Borderlands 2.” The newest strain came from Randy Pitchford, who is the chief operating officer of the Gearbox Software company. According to some messages from his Twitter page on Aug. 16, the individual disclosed that the shift codes can unlock three golden keys for in-game use. Players must redeem the shift codes specifically on the platform in which they are playing “Borderlands 2.” The strain of letters and numbers can be inputted from the “extras” section on the main menu. Once they got the golden keys in their inventory, the players will be able to unlock the golden chest found in the sanctuary region.
“Borderlands 2” was released for the Mac, PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The sequel, which was developed by the aforementioned Gearbox Software, has impressively sold 7 million units across all platforms so far. The aforementioned Randy Pitchford has been regularly releasing new batches of shift codes to accommodate for the new players as well as the older veterans that may have missed the opportunity to acquire the promotional golden key items in the past.
