Extended 'Vampire Diaries' promo ep 4x15 'Stand by Me': Damon is not enough

The extended promo for "The Vampire Diaries" episode 4x15, "Stand By Me" was finally released by the CW on Friday, Feb. 15.

After Thursday's episode, fans were left devastated by the possibility that Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) was really dead. So, when the extended promo did not materialize for quite some time, everyone was starting to get anxious!

But, finally we have the longer promo and it does have a few extra scenes for next week's episode. Plus it was worth the wait, as it comes in at 56 seconds, instead of the usual 30!

Unfortunately, it still looks as if Jeremy's fate is not very promising...

There's a clip that shows Jeremy lying on a couch, unresponsive, followed by Elena (Nina Dobrev) yelling at Dr. Fell (Torrey DeVitto) that he's not dead. Is she right, or is she "out of her mind" as Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is seen telling Stefan (Paul Wesley) in another scene?

Next, a short clip shows Elena as she looks over Jeremy's body as Stefan says that she hasn't said anything except "that she's waiting for him to wake up." This is followed by Matt telling Elena that it's okay to have hope in "this crazy world that we live in." Is he telling her to keep hoping Jeremy will come back?

Then, another new scene at the end, features Elena looking at a photo he herself and Jeremy, as Damon tells her that he's "not enough this time." What did he mean?

Is Jeremy really the character that has been rumored to die? We won't know for sure until next week, although it sure is looking that way... In the meantime, check out the new extended promo to the left, and see if you can decipher anything else!
