It’s time to start with those plans on getting outside with your kids. Time to think about camping! Yes it may be a bit cold where you are at, but a good time to start thinking of places you want to take your kids for the spring time. Having spring break coming up for most schools usually in March or April is an excellent time to even go and stay at a hotel in a new city to explore a museum or other points of interest. A staycation in style in a new city with plenty of places to explore with your kids.
To see the wonderment in your child’s eyes when you take them to places they helped pick out. To see it in person only brings the excitement and curiosity to a higher level. Having them pick out places to see, gives them a sense of accomplishment to having helped pick a few spots to explore. Once there, you can see how excited they are to explore, to see, to feel and smell all the things around them.
Spring time means plenty of time to start the planning process with your kids to make a date for a close by weekend to camp or stay in a hotel and explore a state park, or urban area. Urban hiking is a good way for a child to learn about the city in which they live in or nearby. You as a parent will also learn new things about your child and yourself in exploring the world around you!
