Explore the world at Explore & More for spring break

Explore & More Children’s Museum, located at 300 Gleed Ave. in East Aurora, has some around-the-world fun scheduled for Spring Break week, April 1st through 5th, as the museum explores the World Around Buffalo.

On Monday, April 1st, the museum celebrates Polish Dyngus Day, with activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a performance from the Harmony Polish Folk Ensemble at 2:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 2nd, the museum explores Ethiopia, with activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., plus food to sample and an introduction to Amharic, the language of Ethiopia.

On Wednesday, April 3rd, Puerto Rico is explored from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with plenty of music, food and crafting activities.

On Thursday, April 4th, learn about Yemen from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including Arabic writing, clothing, food and Henna tattoos.

On Friday, April 5th, sample traditional food and discover the colorful clothing of Burma from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission to Explore & More is $5 per person or free to members, families participating in WIC and children under 1. Find out more about Explore & More at www.exploreandmore.org.
