Renew your spirit and supercharge your soul in this two-day Missionary Revival at Apostolic Temple of Jesus Christ (AToJC) on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 and Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. both nights. AToJC is located at 137-18 Farmers Blvd, Springfield Gardens, NY 11434. Guest Speaker for the revival is Pastor Kervy Brown of Greater Deliverance Temple in Danville, VA. The revival theme is “There Will Be Glory After This” with scripture reference from I Peter 5:10, “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
The Apostolic Temple of Jesus Christ congregation and Pastor, Bishop Marcus D. McKnight, just completed a 21-day consecration and are excited and expectant about the “glory after this.” The consecration included a one-meal a day fast and prayer services at 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 – Sunday, January 27, 2013. The focus of the consecration was to drawer closer to God, asking for nothing with the understanding and trust that when you seek God first, He will add all other things you desire. In addition, Rev. Dr. Darlene Day from Pentacostal House of Prayer in Broolyn, NY taught three nights of the second week a word to the Mothers; Praise and Worship Leaders and Ministers; and the Ushers and Security in ministry. The consecration concluded with an awesome move of God during the final service. Min. Michael Balfour preached “If These Walls Could Talk,” referencing the Jericho wall in the Book of Joshua. During the altar call, he instructed the Men of War (Clergy) to lead, the Levites (Praise Team) to fall in behind and those in need of walls to fall (congregants with defenses, problems) to follow in line, marching around the sanctuary six times in silence and then to give the war cry on the seventh march around. When the praise shouts rose and filled the Temple, the symbolic walls fell flat and dancing commenced trampling the walls underfoot. It was truly a liberating experience.
