Everyone arrived for the technology hands on gathering of mobile technology. Some attendees brought their smart phones while others brought their tablets. All were at different levels of knowledge. Everyone came with a thirst for learning.
AARP and Senior Tech Rally along with AT & T presented hands on technology. Each person received a booklet full of pictures of technology. Most importantly there were definitions and step by step instructions on using many of the devices.
With hands on experience and technical assistance for each group of 10, the workshop was a success for introducing mobile technology to everyone. Many times to learn, we need to touch and experience to fully understand.
Everyone learned something. Yes more depth of learning would be needed but for now each person had a great introduction to the Internet and Web Browsing, Skype, You Tube, Twitter, texting, camera photos, attaching photos and sending to their technical assistants. It was great to see a room of more than hundred people enjoying learning. For more photos see their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SeniorTechRALLY/photos_stream
Lunch was provided: A sandwich from Panera Bread, chips, cookie, pickle and bottled water.
The Senior Tech Rally is happening across the country. Visit their website for more information and technology tips http://www.seniortechrally.com/
No matter how much you know you can still learn more
