On thunderous hooves and clashing swords, Medieval Times Maryland Castle sends off 2013 with The Celebration of Centuries on Tuesday, December 31. It will feature two special events – the Family New Year’s Eve Extravaganza and New Year’s Eve 2014. So celebrate the past year while visiting history passed.

Family New Year’s Eve Extravaganza
Doors open for the Family New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at 2:15 p.m. with the show starting at 3:30 p.m. In addition to the show and 4-course feast served during the tournament, kids can revel in free face painting, a free action poster, Story time with Princess, and a free activity book. Everyone is welcome to experience the free Knights Training,

New Year’s Eve 2014 Celebration
Doors open for the New Year’s Eve 2014 at 8:15 p.m. with the show starting at 9:30 p.m. This event will feature a bounty of food including hors d’oeuvres, a 4- course feast served during the show, a champagne toast at midnight (non-alcoholic drinks for 21 and under), and a continental breakfast.

Dance the night away with a DJ as you await the midnight countdown when the balloons drop. And don’t forget the cool party favors.

If you dare, you can check out Museum of Torture (not for the faint of heart).

Admission is $69.95 for adults and $35.95 for children 12 and under. Discounts are not available for 9:30 p.m.
