Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie will be the place to be this Tuesday night, March 11, for Experience Hendrix Tour 2014. The tour officially begins here, with twenty scheduled performances spread throughout the Midwest and mid-Atlantic regions following. The very special show is a tribute to the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix, originated by his father, James "Al" Hendrix in 1995.

2014 will be the eighth edition of the Experience Hendrix Tour, presented by Band Fuse: Rock Legends. This year there is an unbelievable line-up of musicians participating in Experience Hendrix. The rhythm section has been made up of the same two incredible artists for each and every one of the Experience Hendrix Tours - Billy Cox, who besides Hendrix himself, is the only musician that was in both the Band of Gypsies and the Jimi Hendrix Experience, and Chris Layton, the drummer/co-founder of Double Trouble. Also performing Tuesday night at the Verizon Theater will be legendary Zakk Wylde (Black Sabbath/Black Label Society), blues icon Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Texas guitar gods Eric Johnson and Doyle Bramhall II, Dweezil Zappa, Cesar Rosas and David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), blues rocker Eric Gales, Mato Nanji (Indigenous), and from Serbia by way of Memphis, Ana Popovic. There will be a slightly different roster of performers in various cities throughout the tour.

Now you surely understand why I said the the Experience Hendrix Tour 2014 will be the place to be Tuesday. This night will be something special. When will there ever be another chance to see this many rock legends perform on the same stage? Don't miss this opportunity to experience the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix! Tickets are available at AXS Tickets and StubHub!. The show starts at 7:30 pm.
