Globalquerque - Albuquerque's Annual Celebration of World Music and Culture - returns. The full program takes place September 24th and 25th.

But on Saturday, Sept. 25, 10:30 AM - 4 PM - visitors can enjoy the FREE Global Fiesta, an afternoon of fun filled activities and workshops created in collaboration with the National Hispanic Cultural Center's Education Department. The whole NHCC campus will be full of dance, music and hands-on activities for the young and the inquisitive of all ages. Activities are geared towards both children and adults.

There will also be the Global Village with about 30 booths of international crafts, culture and cuisine will be available for your browsing and shopping pleasure. Come early so you'll have plenty of time to explore the diverse offerings. Food and drink will be available until late in the evening, but the craft booths will shut down around 8 or 9pm. Local cultural groups are invited to bring information about their activities, put out mailing lists and free materials for distribution at the Community Booth.
