The animals at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore lead exciting lives throughout the year. After a while, their daily routines can become mundane (although animals love routines). Every once in a while the zoo keepers and staff shake things up, especially on the holidays.
Animal Enrichment Days
This month, the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is featuring Animal Enrichment Days to celebrate Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day, both programs being suitable for families and individuals of all ages. On Saturday, February 10 is Mardi Gras Enrichment Day, and on Saturday, February 16 is Valentine's Enrichment Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
