Here's your chance to learn more about the mountain culture of Appalachia when you attend the Cincinnati Museum Center's free Appalachian Culture Fest being held on Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17.
Appalachian Culture Fest Co-sponsored by the Appalachian Community Development Association, the Appalachian Culture Fest will give visitors the chance to watch skilled mountain crafters create handmade wares (which will be available for purchase), observe traditional Appalachian arts demonstrations and delight in the tales of storytellers.
Visitors can also enjoy the many performances by a variety of bluegrass musicians.
Of course, there will be lots and lots of tasty food available to please your palate.
Hours for the Appalachian Culture Fest are noon- 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free (in the Museum Center's public areas) but any activities taking place at the surrounding museums will have an admission charge. General parking is $6.

The Appalachian Fest will take place in the Grand Rotunda area of the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal. The Cincinnati Museum Center is located at 1301 Western Ave. in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is approximately a 4 hour drive from Cleveland.
