It has been a whole year, but finally it has arrived--Bull City Burger and Brewery's own verson of March Madness! Each March, BCBB features wild game burgers sourced from farms across the U.S. This year is no exception with a mouth-watering line-up of peculiar meats for your perusal, and each burger will be prepared with specific spices and seasonings to compliment each meat as found in different cultures and regions.
As if the promise of outlandish meats paired with exotic spices and freshly brewed craft beer were not enough, with the purchase of your sixth burger, you will receive a free TS Designs, NC made t-shirt proclaiming "I never met a meat I wouldn't eat" (while supplies last), so save your receipts!
And, in the spirit of Willy Wonka, this month BCBB has also instituted the Hunt for the Five Golden Bulls. These golden bulls, which are hidden all around the city of Durham, will entitle the finders to burger, fries, and a drink--one per week--for a year! Check the website for full details and clues given each day.
On a less self-indulgent note, BCBB will also be supporting the Urban Ministries of Durham in "Empty Bowls 2013." The even takes place on Thursday, March 7th at the Marriott Convention Center, and Bull City will be serving their new vegetarian White Chipotle Chili. To order your tickets, click here.
Last, but certainly not least, the beers on tap this month:
- Bryant Bridge Gateway Golden
- Parrish Street Pale Ale
- Dr. Bartlett's Ordinary Bitter (this Examiner's favorite for the obvious reason)
- Pratt Pilsner
- Snow Hill Winter Warmer
- Youngen Horny Barley Wine
- Watts Oatmeal Stout
Jack Tar Stout is currently in the fermenter.
