Demonic possession, exorcisms, and hauntings; these issues were not generally discussed by Catholic priests in years past. However, times are certainly changing, because this subject is not as taboo as it used to be. The reason for that is that reports of possible demonic activity are increasing in this day and age.
The Catholic Church is seeing an increase in reports of demonic activity in recent years. Some attribute this to the Western world becoming more and more secular. Additionally, with the rise in popularity of yoga (an eastern Hindu practice) and magic themed fiction, it is believed by some clergy that this actually opens the door to evil and spiritual warfare.
Enter Archbishop Ron Feyl of The Catholic Jurisdiction of the Sacred Order of Saint Michael the Archangel. Archbishop Feyl founded this Order as a Holy Order of Exorcists and he is their Chief Exorcist. In a recent interview, this examiner discussed the increase in demonic activity with Archbishop Feyl.
“It's still not talked openly, but yes, demonic activity is increasing. I'll get requests from around the world almost every day for demonic investigations. Here is a link you may want to read:
"Do demons really exist? Where are the Clergy?" http://www.prlog.org/11761366,” said Archbishop Feyl.
Archbishop Feyl is actively seeking other clergy and lay people, especially Christian paranormal investigators, to join his ranks and fight the good fight. He very seriously stresses that this is not for everyone. This is a calling and most if the time he and his order are truly dealing with demons and it can be very dangerous for anyone involved.
For anyone in need of their services, the Order of Exorcists is a non-profit organization and their services are free to anyone in need of help. If you need to request the aid of The Catholic Jurisdiction of the Sacred Order of Saint Michael the Archangel, or if you are interested in becoming a member of the Order, please visit their website at: http://www.ghostterminators.com/
The website has contact information and a great deal of material that educates the public about exorcisms, demonic activity, ghosts, and much more. There are videos of exorcisms from all over the world on this site, so it is quite informative. Regardless of where anyone is located around the world, The Order of Exorcists can send a priest or a trained lay person to the aid of whoever needs help.
The lesson learned, here, is that for anyone dabbling in the occult or in paranormal investigating, there is a real danger. Spirits do respond when they are contacted. The problem is that it is never clear who will come through and that is the danger.
