Is there any person in America today that believes Obama had nothing to do with releasing the illegal immigrants in order to boost his claim that sequester will hurt the country? Does anyone not believe he told Janet Napolitano “let my people go so they may worship me’? One such individual might be Charles Brown who asked if he should try to minimize the impact of reduced increases in his department. The Washington Post reported he was told not to do anything that would lessen the impact Congress had been warned of.
So what is the impact of releasing illegals from custody? To answer that question we must first look at who is in custody in the first place. They are not the friendly illegal’s that play the mariachi band at your local Mexican restaurant. Nor are they the ones that swarm over your lawn in summer. How do we know this? Because Obama already made clear only the ones that are a public safety threat will be the focus of deportation per his executive order last June. Each and every one of these released was being held for deportation and additional crimes or as the papers like to say removal proceedings.
The actual numbers of those released seem to rise daily from less than 500 to now over 5,000. Just looking closely at three that benefited we can see why they were in custody. Mr. Jimenez Andres, former resident of Guatemala, deported in 2006 for driving without a license returns to commit two addition DUI’s and a little domestic assault. Then we have Mr. Anthony Williams from Jamaica who over stayed his visa long enough to commit battery, child abuse and violate his probation. Ms. No name that was happy to be reunited with her family here, instead of Mexico after be held for theft. Since Obama already released the ones that only broke our immigration laws we are now getting down to the real criminals.
Some other points to ponder about this release that no one will take responsibility for. Three of the four states affected (Texas, Georgia, Arizona, and California) did not vote for Obama in 2012. Napolitano knew nothing about it but knows thousands more are coming because of sequester. How many Americans citizens were released from prisons? Is it just a coincidence that the party that fights voter ID would cater to illegals? When word got out America could not afford to detain illegal criminals is it any wonder the numbers caught increased? (Dec = 2,758, Jan = 2,815 Feb = 4,777)
Now that we have seen the first plague of blood that Obama has brought down on us for refusing to increase taxes what will the other nine be like?
