Exist Trace to perform at Tekkoshocon

One of Japan's first all female, visual kei rock bands, Exist Trace, will be performing at the anime and Japanese pop culture convention Tekkoshocon next year from March 21 - 25, 2012.  They are said to be performing a live concert on Saturday, March 24th as well as attending a Q&A panel and an autograph session for fans.

The band consists of five members, vocalist Jyou, guitarists Omi and Miko, bass player Naoto and drummer, Mally.  Exist Trace formed in 2003 with music that is often described as death or gothic metal.  Jyou's use of death growls and screams, along with distorted guitars and a heavy focus on bass and drums, has helped to create their unique sound amongst the music scene.  The band has to date released five singles, six EPs, including their major label debut, TRUE, and two albums, most recently Twin Gate in November 2010.

Exist Trace has toured twice in Europe, hitting major cities like London, Berlin, Moscow, and Paris, performed at the 2009 V-ROCK FESTIVAL in Japan, and made their US debut at Sakura-Con in Seattle of 2011.  Exist Trace is being presented by Monster, Inc. and JapanFiles.com
