Exercises for Couch Potatoes

I discovered a new concept in exercising while watching TV. Commercials! No, not to run and get a snack either. Commericals can be pretty entertaining. They are filled with such a variety of music so why not make good use of them? Almost all commercials have music with a different beat, a different tempo and lots of other variations. So just get up and start moving! If it's just marching in place or doing a side step, pretty soon you'll develop your own unique routine. With so many commercials in between the actual show you will have a chance to develop many types of exercise routines. So instead of sitting there bored to tears waiting for your show to come back on or running for that snack, turn commercial time into exercise time. No equipment necessary, no complicated steps to follow and no keeping up with the instructor who is making a buck off of you either. The important thing is that you get up and shake that thing, burn a little calories and enjoy yourself while you are waiting for your TV show to come back on. Now if you are a die hard couch potato, you can still exercise while not getting up at all. You can still do leg lifts, rotate your joints, bounce your knee or just stretch and soon you'll forget all about that snack!
