The event will be an outstanding opportunity to blend one’s patriotism for Canada with his or her passion for the game of golf.

The day includes 18 holes, power cart, practice range time, an amazing meal, prizes, music, fireworks and more.

The cost comes in at $90 for EG Members and $100 for guests, plus HST.

“Players get the choice of golf format - social or competitive - and the team at the Canadian is organizing a type of kids' camp so you can bring them along and know they're being taken care of while you play,” said Andy Rajhathy, vice-president of EG.

The golf gets going with a 1 p.m. shotgun and there will be awesome contests. The activities for kids include badminton, soccer, mini-putt and a water slide.

Capping the activities will be the serving of a scrumptious roast beef dinner, followed by music and the huge fireworks show.

The Canadian Golf and Country Club features two courses - the 18-hole West Course and the full-length nine-hole East Course. The West Course is a par 72 measuring 6,430 yards from the back tees. The East Course plays to par 35 and is 3,135 yards from the tips. Four sets of tees allow golfers of all skill levels to enjoy their rounds.
