Boulder’s Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts has something to be proud of this week. It’s very own executive chef Graham Mitchell was inducted into the Disciples Escoffier International-USA, a prestigious French gastronomic society that strives to preserve culinary traditions and support culinary education through apprenticeships.
“I am honored to be a member of this prestigious culinary society. The Disciples Escoffier International does an incredible job of maintaining the memory of the great Auguste Escoffier through its culinary scholarship fund and continued charitable endeavors,” said Graham about the organization that supports young people’s dreams of becoming personal chefs.
Both faculty members and students of Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts from Boulder, CO and Austin, TX were present at the induction ceremony that was overseen by the President of the organization, Michel Bouit. Each inductee received a red sash, pin and a certificate. For more information on the Disciples Escoffier International, please visit http://www.disciples-escoffier.com/.
