Why would someone shoot 19 year old Daquan Crump multiple time in the head? That's the answer police are looking for. The youth who has no criminal record and was never in any trouble was working at a Wendy's less than a mile from where the incident happened.
Police said that Crump was discovered by a construction worker who was tearing down the Red White and Black furniture store on the 10,000 block of Northeast Ave. Police were called, just after 7:30 a.m.today, Aug 19 2013 and Crump was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide Detective James Clark called the killing "Very violent and very personal". 10 bullets were fired into the mans head. He was taken behind the construction site which is somewhat secluded. Mud and dirt were found on Crump's knees, which is consistent with him having been kneeling down before he was shot.
At this point, police have no suspects. area security cameras are being looked at to see if there is anything to show the victim, his attacker or vehicle.
