When did you discover your flair for High Fashion?
I have always been interested in fashion. I started working in retail at age 15 at Celeste Turner in Lincoln Park and have continued to work in fashion/retail in both New York and Chicago since. It’s always been my passion.
What inspired you to open the beautiful SARCA Boutique?
I’ve always wanted to open my own boutique and after many years of working in the industry, it finally became a reality!
How did you choose the unique yet beautiful name SARCA?
My family is from Italy and we have a home in Northern Italy. SARCA is the name of the river that runs next to our house.
What type of fashionista does Sarca cater to?
SARCA caters to women who appreciate exquisite, high-quality clothing and accessories. The SARCA woman looks to stand out and be a trendsetter.
How would you describe your individual fashion identity?
Americanized-Euro. I love trying out new trends and keeping my look fresh and modern.
How has your background shaped your view of the Industry?
Because I’ve worked in the industry since high school, I’ve really gotten behind-the-scenes experience in what is required to run a successful boutique from the ground up.
How does your background add to the exclusivity of your Boutique?
My family has always traveled a lot my dad is from Italy and my mom is Austrian. So, I was always exposed to international designers and I truly appreciate quality design work and innovative trends. I travel to Europe several times a year seeking out new, exclusive lines for SARCA.
