LOS ANGELES - In the Osbourne estate the workings of the latest release by Black Sabbath are still in progress. Ozzy has come forth and mentioned that "Its been 30 years since we last recorded an album together, its a huge f#$k%$g deal." (per Guitar World Article) The world is anxious to know what the final outcome will sound like, let alone if the band can piece it together for a tour. With Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine) on the drums the idea of can he handle this Sabbath concept or what? Geezer stated “He had that Bill Ward kind of jazzy swing feel, rather than heavy metal bashing.”
With Rubin behind the wheel to catapult the bands' latest efforts all eyes are waiting on the day it drops so we can hear that chemistry that fueled an all out assault on the music industry in the 70's. As for Tony Iommi and to where he is with the project he is currently back home receiving treatment for his lymphoma but is in good spirits and hoping for the best for himself as well as the latest Black Sabbath efforts.
