With this weekend's UFC 168 right around the corner, fight fans are quickly shaking off the post-holiday hangovers and are shifting their collective attention to Fight Capital, USA, Las Vegas, Nev.
The main event of Saturday's stacked card emanating from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino features newly minted middleweight champion Chris Weidman making his first UFC title defense against the man he defeated for the strap back in July, Anderson "The Spider" Silva.
However, before that legendary rematch takes place, fans will be treated to a co-main event rematch with plenty of hype in its own right, as women's bantamweight champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and her arch nemesis Miesha "Cupcake" Tate lock horns. The challenger, Tate, is looking to defeat the rowdy one after suffering a defeat to the champion earlier in their respective careers.
Earlier in the week, Tate held an open workout for select media in 'Sin City' and National MMA Examiner Ryan McKinnell was on hand to cover the action.
In this clip, hear Miesha speak on Rousey's mental warfare leading up to their rematch on Dec. 28, and how the champ once took her love for fighting.
Lastly, gives her thoughts on the Ronda's eagerness to keep her legendary arm-bar streak intact, and if she can use that eagerness to her advantage.
