The Twitter account for "Truckers Ride For the Constitution" was suspended today for no apparent reason, but there is no stopping the patriot truckers group, as one of the organizers told the Examiner, "We will be heard."
The trucker's hashtag #T2SDA is already in full gear on Twitter.
The truckers will be descending upon D.C. on the weekend of Oct. 11-13.
As reported by the Examiner, the truckers group was previously shut down by Facebook for saying, "God Bless America," but they started a new Facebook page that has over 50,000 followers at the time of this writing.
An organizer for the truckers group, Ben Pam, wanted Americans to know that despite recent reports that indicated that the truckers were planning on "arresting" congressmen, that is not the case.
"We do not intend to obstruct traffic or close down any roads."
"We are not coming to arrest anyone."
Pam clarified the mission of the Truckers Ride For the Constitution,
We, the Truckers Riding For The Constitution only wish to awaken the American People to the complete disregard for the Constitution and to bring a message to Congress that We The People demand to be heard. We do not intend to arrest anyone or blockade DC until Obama is impeached. There are news articles and false statements going out from groups and people that are not a part of this movement. Please understand that these people do not speak for us.
Truckers Ride for the Constitution was inspired by the '2 Million Bikers to DC' group according to founder Zeeda Andrews, and has received much support by the 'Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment' group, as previously reported by the Examiner.
The Overpasses group will be cheering on the Truckers as they make their way to the nation's capitol, as posted on their main Facebook page, which lists Overpasses groups by state.
Zeeda Andrews is giving updates at 9:00 pm eastern time Mon thru Thurs at the Trucker's official website, "Ride for the Constitution." To call in and speak with Zeeda, the number is 218-862-9829.
