Exclusive ‘Super Smash Bros. 4’ Club Nintendo bonus revealed for Wii U and 3DS

An exclusive Super Smash Bros. 4 reward has been announced and detailed by Nintendo of America. According to a press release issued by the company on Aug. 29, those that purchase both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. 4 and register the games to Club Nintendo will receive an exclusive bonus. Similarly, those that register Hyrule Warriors on Club Nintendo will receive exclusive Ganondorf downloadable content for that title.

Marking the first time a Smash Bros. title has come to a Nintendo portable, Nintendo aims to celebrate this momentous occasion. Those who purchase Super Smash Bros. 4 on both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and then register the titles on Club Nintendo will receive the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U: Premium Sound Selection: a soundtrack CD containing music from Super Smash Bros. 4 on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Fans who register both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the games with Club Nintendo will receive the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U: Premium Sound Selection, a soundtrack CD packed with music taken from and inspired by the games. More details about this offer will be provided in the future.

Nintendo has previously offered soundtracks as Club Nintendo rewards. In 2013, the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was offered as a Platinum Award for members. Likewise, anyone who registered their copy of Ocarina of Time 3D on Club Nintendo received a copy of the game’s soundtrack.

The Super Smash Bros. series always feature high-quality renditions of classic Nintendo themes. With the game’s musical library offering a diverse range of tracks from titles like The Legend of Zelda, Mario, StarFox, MegaMan, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Pac-Man, expect the Club Nintendo bonus to be highly desired item by fans.
