Today on Jan. 27 Examiner.com is excited to share our exclusive interview with "Housewives" alum Ramona Singer. We spoke with Ramona about her her new endeavors and what inspired her to create her very own spirits.

What was the inspiration behind Ramona Pinot Grigio?

Ramona Singer: My first drink of choice is Pinot Grigio, if I'm out shopping or hanging with the girls, it's what I like to drink because it's light and easy on the palate. And with the growth of social media and the growth of my fan-base from The Real-housewives franchise, I was constantly being asked what my favorite wine was, or what I recommended and it was then that I realized then that I did not have a favorite. I kept changing my brands and realized that I liked a lot of them, but I didn't love any of them. And that was the inspiration behind Ramona Pinot Grigio.

So you decided to produce your very own, that's incredible. What would you say is the most important factors you looked for in developing Ramona Pinot Grigio?

Ramona Singer: One of the most important factors for Ramona Pinot Grigio was that it had to have a smooth finish on the palate. I also wanted to make something that was fabulous and affordable.

Why should people try Ramona Pinot Grigio, what set's this Pinot apart from the rest?

Ramona Singer: Pinot fans will love it, I honestly feel that you should drink what you enjoy and Ramona Pinot Grigio is what I enjoy and I'm very confident that many, many others will too! It has such a nice finish at the end, you can taste the citrus and the pear and it came out great and people who've tried it love it.

That's great, guest will also try your Merlot, can you tell me a bit about Ramona Sangiovese Merlot?

Ramona Singer: Yes, I wanted something to pair with food and I have a deep love for Merlot, so I developed a Mini Tuscan that's a richer wine of course that I love. It has a smooth finish as well and what I love most is that as soon as you open the bottle it doesn't have to breathe. You can just taste the dark cherries and berries, its rich and has a great body. It's fantastic!

The ambiance tonight is magnificent, do you normally dine at David Burke and if not why did you choose David Burke at Bloomingdales for your private dinner?

Ramona Singer: I love David Burke and I dine at a number of his restaurant's quite regularly. I absolutely love David Burke Fishtail and I shop at Bloomingdales so I love that I can eat at David Burke after shopping as well. He honestly has some of the most successful restaurants in the city, why not celebrate at David Burke. I love to eat at David Burke.

Are there any other projects that you're working on that we should know about?

Ramona Singer: Truefaithjewlery.com is my jewelry website and there's always something new that we're working on for my jewelry line. I'm known for my signature diamonds by the inch as well as new crystals by the inch that are more contemporary with colors like white, black and blue! Check us out!
