Exclusive: Nate Hartsock defends thinking Sean wasn't right for Desiree (Video)

On "The Bachelor" 2013, fans got to meet Nate Hartsock. He was on the hometown dates to help out his sister Desiree. On March 12, I was able to talk to Nate and find out his thoughts on Sean and Desiree on the show.

Nate says that he is close with his sister. Even though they don't live close to each other they talked about once a week before she went on the show. Growing up she would tag along with him and his friends to do things.

Nate mentions that he was with Sean, Des, and the camera crew for about six hours. He could just see that there was a not a strong connection between his sister and Sean. He felt it was best to be honest with her about his feelings. He felt that Sean was not very sincere about his feelings and also dodged some of the hard questions. Des had fallen hard and he didn't want her to get hurt.

He admits that Desiree at first thought the way that he treated Sean was the reason she got sent home. She was mad for about two months, but now they are over it and things are just fine between them. He is even being very supportive while she is "The Bachelorette." Check out the rest of my interview for his thoughts on her being on the show here.

You never know fans you might get to see Nate Hartsock on television again. He is open to the idea of making a cameo on "The Bachelorette" to give his opinion on the final two guys.
