Sharmisa "Extra" Garner from "For the Love of Ray J 2" is more than just an extra

As you all know, I am a huge fan of For the Love of Ray J 2. I watched the first season religiously and this season is no different. From the beginning, there are some ladies who stand out from the crowd and some who blend into the background and this season Extra is definitely a standout. She's left me wondering who she really is and what she's really all about. What's up with this longtime cheerleader, bible reading, Texan who's trying to win Ray J's heart? We’re only a few episodes into For the Love of Ray J 2 and you’re already making a name for yourself. How do you feel about the other girls’ views of you?
I feel like because of the character Extra, the girls have a one-sided viewpoint of me, but I’m not really bothered by that. I went on the show to make a name for myself, so I guess my goal was accomplished.
Who is Extra?
Extra is a highly controversial, misunderstood, entertaining young lady who loves attention and will do almost anything for it.
Who is Sharmisa?
Sharmisa is the polar opposite of Extra. I’m a loving and caring Christian who’s kindness is often taken for weakness. I love to make people laugh even though my jokes are a little corny.
Who do you want the world to know you as?
Without Extra, Sharmisa may have remained a nobody. So, I will use Extra to show young girls how not to act. Besides, Sharmisa serves as a better role model for our hurting teenage girls.
What is your book about?
My book, “The Lust for Love” shares my battle and triumph with lusting for love. I open the pages of my life and reveal the mental and physical strongholds on my journey of finding love and the mistakes I made while lusting for love.

I’m as real as it gets. I’m not perfect. I’m a work in progress, but my heart belongs to the Lord.
