Kristy Swanson is coming to Hallmark in a brand new movie called "A Lesson in Romance." This will air on April 19 at 8 p.m. CST. On April 10, Examiner was able to talk to Kristy over the phone to find out all about this movie and her acting career.
You can check out the preview of this upcoming movie at Hallmark's website. This movie stars Kristy Swanson, Scott Grimes, Paul Butcher and Allie Gonino. She plays Megan Mills. Her two children are moving off and going to college, but her husband also decides to leave her and go back as well. Megan will enroll in school also to try to reconnect and not lose her family. She had a great time working on this movie!
Kristy filmed this movie about a year ago in California. She hasn't even had a chance to see it yet, but she is sure it turned out amazing. This is a very family friendly movie that you can enjoy on a Saturday night with your kids. She would allow her 7-year-old to watch it without a doubt.
This actress has been working hard. Since she filmed "A Lesson in Romance," she finished up her time on the show "Psych" and filmed two other movies. One movie is called "Jingle Belle" and is a Christmas movie that will come out this year. She was with Dean Cain in this flick. The other movie she just finished was "Beethoven's Treasure Tail" and it will come out in the summer of 2014. She also just finished up her own line of ladies golf dresses called aDRESSitGOLF.
Swanson said that if the opportunity to do a series came up she would be totally open to the idea. She worked on "Early Edition" for a year earlier in her career and loved it. She also loves it when fans recognize her on the street from her time as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." That proves that 22 years later she still looks amazing.
