Jenn Lyon is one of the stars of the new hit comedy show "Saint George" which airs on FX on Thursday nights. On Monday, Examiner got the chance to talk to her in an exclusive interview and found out about the show, working with George Lopez, and more. Jenn plays the role of McKenzie on the show which is George's ex-wife and the mother of his son.

When Jenn heard about this role, she was unable to actually audition for it. Instead she actually used her iPad and made a homemade tape which she sent in. George Lopez liked the tape and flew to New York to meet her. The rest is history because these two hit it off and he gave her the part of his ex-wife on the show.

She was attracted to this role because of the dynamic between George and McKenzie. It is very obvious that they still care about each other. Even when they argue it appears to be their way of showing affection to each other. It is not the normal way of fighting between ex's and she liked that about this television couple.

A lot of fans of Jenn Lyon remember her from her time on the show "Justified." She is still best friends with one of her personal assistant's from the show. Jenn loves working on a series and staying busy.

She was able to tease one small spoiler for the finale. Kristin Bauer van Straten, who is best known as Pam on "True Blood" is a special guest on the show. Jenn also said that Danny Trejo's character will do something you don't want to miss.

Jenn recently finished up work on a movie called "The Flower Shop." She described it as a dark movie. It is still being edited, but it is coming out soon. She actually produced it and acted in the flick as well. They will be taking it to festivals soon.

Don't miss the season one finale of "Saint George" when it airs on Thursday night. This will be the end of season one, but season two has not been confirmed yet. When asked if she is in for season two if it happens, Jenn said, "heck ya!" Season one was only 10 episodes so if they are picked up for another season it could be more episodes as well. You can keep up with Jenn on Twitter.
