Debut author Elisa Nader's first thrill ride Escape from Eden will be landing on shelves this August 18th, and YA Fics & Flicks now has an exclusive reveal for the oh-so-lush book cover.
The story follows the sixteen-year-old Mia, a girl who's spent the last six years of her life tucked away in a jungle religious commune. Unlike most of the flock, Mia doesn't exactly follow the Reverend Elias Eden's iron-fisted preaching blindly, and she wars with constant doubt about the ways and rituals of her sect. She dreams of sneaking right past those pesky gate guards who keep order within.
So, when a rebellious young man named Gabe is brought in with his family, Mia sees an opportunity for her long-desired escape. As the two dig deeper into their surroundings to find an out, though, they uncover dark and twisted secrets about Eden and the commune itself. Mia must then race to save her loved ones from the Reverend's plan for destruction ... or else.
