“Diablo III” is coming to consoles this Tuesday. Those that make a pre-order will get exclusive content for the game. The popular hack and slash franchise from Blizzard will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on Sep. 3.
The PC version of the game was released on May 15, 2012. The announcement that the game would be developed for consoles was met with some controversy. Changes will be made for the console version of the game that won’t be available for PC users.
Those that pre-order the game for consoles will receive an in game item, the Infernal Helm, and an XP bonus. Pre-order the game for PlayStation and gamers will get other exclusive content. PS3 exclusive in-game content includes Drakes Amulet, Leah’s Ring, The Hero’s Journey, Leoric’s Gauntlet, and Crimson Angelic Wings.
“Diablo III” features five powerful character classes; the barbarian, monk, demon hunter, wizard and witch doctor. The console version will have four player online and local co-op. The randomized locations, loot, paragon system, infernal machine, and brawling features gives the game a lot of replay value.
To get the Infernal Helm you’ll need to pre-order the game from participating retailers. If you've yet to experience the dungeon crawling fun of Blizzard’s “Diablo” then you’re in for a treat. Pre-order your copy of the game now before it’s too late.
