Nasser Entertainment has released an exclusive clip from the upcoming thriller, “Amber Alert: Terror on the Highway,” which makes its way to DVD on July 29.
In this exclusive clip, Oscar nominee Tom Berenger (“Platoon”) does a sort of “Taxi Driver” monologue and promises someone “You’ll be sorry.”
Here is just a sample of what he says:
“Stay away. Well, I don’t need you or the little girl. What you need is a good a** kickin’ just for old times sake.”
“Little discipline never hurt anybody. You don’t want me? You got some sucker? Good, I don’t want you either.”
“You’ll be sorry. You’ll be sorry, little June-y bug.”
Be sure to check out the full clip at the top of the screen.
Here is the synopsis from Nasser Entertainment:
“Larsan is a man on the edge, making a dead rush for Mexico and kidnapping two young girls along the way. He is hotly pursued by police chief Martha Geiger, herself a mother of two. Using the Amber Alert system, Geiger constructs a psychological trap that will brutally punish the man who came in to mess with her town.”
The movie also stars Britt McKillip (“Coming Home for Christmas”) and Torri Higginson (“Stargate: Atlantis”). George Mendeluk (“The Marsh,” “Lonesome Dove: The Series”) directed a script from Luis Cruz, Jack Nasser, and Joseph Nasser. Joseph Nasser is also a police officer, who served as co-writer and producer for the film to help raise awareness of the Amber Alert system.
This film is not to be confused with a 2012 feature that has a similar name and starred Summer Bellessa, Jasen Wade, and Chris Hill. The two projects are not related.
Be sure to check out “Amber Alert: Terror on the Highway” when it releases to DVD on July 29.
